LaShawn has two passions - travelling and writing. She makes good use of her travel down time by writing on planes, in airports and hotels. She has always been an avid reader, but since her retirement in December 2019, she's now become a published author as well! She contributes her love of words (winning a state spelling bee in 8th grade) to charting her path of becoming an author. Since the pandemic, she has written two more books and is working on another.
