DeShante Johnson is a native from New Orleans, Louisiana. Her love for books grew when she was just two years old and was intrigued ever since. Her grandmother, Barbara Bush, fed her granddaughter's passion for books by engrossing her mind from every author DeShante came across at Barnes and Nobles and at the local library. All of the authors were from different genres. From authors such as Heather Graham and Stephen King to Mary B. Morrison and Zane, DeShante fell in love with reading more and more until the urge to write became her greatest passion. Thus, Kaige Keira was born. Having the urge to do both suddenly compelled DeShante to try her hand and write short stories and poems. Now the time has come to dream bigger
