                                        Myra Armstead is a firm believer in education. She obtained her Bachelor’s (BCJ), two Master’s (MCJ/MPA) and her Juris Doctorate from Miles School of Law. Myra has a heart of a servant. She has volunteered and assisted women victims of domestic violence in her local community. She donates used clothing and shoes to needy single mothers in surrounding communities as her personal ministry towards empowering women, which later developed into her own nonprofit organization (The Trunk Ministry). She provides free notary services (M A Notary Services) to senior citizens and poverty-stricken individuals in surrounding communities. She has volunteered with several legal clinics in surrounding areas. Myra has recently launched a new venture “Sisters Let’s Talk”. This organization focuses on addressing the needs of young girls, teenage girls and women of all ages. Myra serves in various areas to empower women by being a motivational speaker for various non-profit organizations. She also shares her personal testimonies as a part of giving back and connecting with others. Her most recent accomplishment was becoming an author in September 2019. She released her first book “Divine Purpose”. Myra have been recognized by several agencies for her community and civic contributions. She was the recipient of the Atlanta Regional Commissioner’s citation for exceptional contributions and achievement. She was also the recipient of the Robert R. Hinrichs Humanitarian Award. Myra were recognized by Miles Law School for being an outstanding law student and for rendering dedicated service on behalf of the law school. Myra have been featured in the City of Hueytown magazine, as a StrongHer candidate by the City of Birmingham, AL, Birmingham Times News Paper, 2020 Trademark Women of Distinction, countless social media features/blogs, interviews and many more.

            Myra is a person of impact. She continuously searches for ways to make a difference in her own unique way. She is looking forward towards manifesting other God given ventures that are currently in the planning process. Myra is excited about the things that God is doing in her life as well as humble by every way he uses her for his Glory.
