Freddie Woods Wilson is the second child of seven, born on the tenth day of July 1951 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Her roots are in Minden, Louisiana. She attended Webster Memorial CME Church from childhood until Mrs. Wilson left for Germany in April 1991, to join her new husband whom she married in December 1990 after being a widower for 18 years.
Mrs. Wilson volunteered at US Army Community Services (ACS) as a Front Desk Clerk, later worked as a substitute teacher at Erlangen Elementary School (Germany). After returning to the USA after three years she applied for work at the schools in Cumberland County. Mrs. Wilson has served in positions that ranged from school receptionist, substitute teacher, and Educational Aide Paraprofessional in various school’s district. A wide range of duties as a substitute teacher. Being a substitute teacher can be rewarding it was for me.
Freddie Woods Wilson has two books, she became a first-time author in 2012, her first book A Divine Connection “Experiencing a Moment” Keep Pushing Forward. In this book Mrs. Wilson shares the joys and trails of being a teacher.” A Divine Connection: Experiencing a Moment” chronicles the life and career of a teacher while imparting Lessons of universal value. In this book she also shares her storied journey through the academic area, a journey that brought her innumerable trails and invaluable lessons. Today’s teachers are confronted with challenges that seemed unthinkable decades ago. Just like any other career, Wilson teaching profession also had it’s share of difficult experiences and disappointing. Her second book is a workbook journal title; How is God working in Your Life Today? The journal is inspirational, encourager, hope and is challenging I encourage you daily to read your bible verse and write in this journal the day when God spoke to you and what He said. There are supplied scriptures in the journal also.

Note: Freddie Woods Wilson a women mentor and the Leader of the Outreach Women Bible Study for Wood Chapel Gospel Service Fort Bragg. Organized a writer’s group for active duty soldiers, retirees and their families on Fort Bragg. She is a member of Blue Ridge Mountain Christian Writers, Christian Book lovers, and a participant in the Decatur Book Festival.
