JC was a closet writer for many years due to a devastating blow in her past that silenced her creativity and almost derailed her God-given talent of being an entertainer and storyteller through the written word. After a phenomenal, spiritual breakthrough, it was clear that what God has placed in your heart, no one can take away. She is a natural-born writer; it is infused in her D.N.A. and believes everyone’s D.N.A. makes them Deliberately Not Average! So you want to write a book but have no idea where to start? You know you have a story inside of you but struggle to put pen to paper to express your thoughts. That’s where I come in! As your personal writing coach, you and I will partner and work together to see your project come to life. Through my 10- month customizable coaching program, I will be your guide, providing content, structure, storyline development, cohesion and focus. Our monthly sessions will keep you on track, motivated and accountable until the manuscript is complete. I’m so passionate about helping people tell their story, I offer a free 30-minute introductory consultation, where I get to learn about the type of writing project you are pursuing; in return, I offer sound advice, encouragement and concrete steps to help you on your journey.
I also work with those working on anthology projects to assist authors with sharpening and shaping their chapters. I have done this three times, where I do a mini workshop on writing.
Perhaps you have completed project and need someone to review it, make sure it is in good shape, find any holes, or you just need to bounce some ideas around and desire constructive feedback. Happy to consult with the client on this.
Ghostwriting
For those who know they have a story inside of them but are not comfortable writing, I will write your book for you. I will meet with you through interviews and storytelling sessions to understand your style, tone and presence so that the book represents you, the client; at the end of the process, the client is able to use the product as their own or credit the ghostwriter -- it’s up to the client. I own no parts of the manuscript and will be bound by a confidentiality agreement.
