Tyria D. Jones
Tyria D. Jones was born and
raised in Pompano Beach, Florida. She is the wife to the love of her life,
Kenneith. She and Kenneith have a blended family of 8 amazing children. They
are also foster parents to 2 beautiful baby boys. She served in the US Army for
six years and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Tyria
is a 3x Amazon Bestselling Author, a Certified Life Purpose Coach and a Motivational Speaker. Tyria struggled most of her life trying to find out who
she was; therefore, she lacked self-love. This led her to an abusive
relationship/marriage. She lived a life of fear for over 20 years of her life
until one day she realized she was created for greater things. Tyria has
dedicated her life and personal story to fulfilling God’s purpose of showing
other women how they too can heal, live a joyous life, love themselves, and walk
in their purpose.
In 2016, Tyria captured the
attention of women across the country when she wrote her memoir, A Crown of
Beauty for Ashes, in which she shared her personal journey from surviving
an abusive marriage and homelessness to living the life of victory in God. The
idea to begin a writing career with her own personal experiences came from her
husband Kenneith planting a seed and encouraging her to be brave and speak
boldly about what God had done in her life.
Tyria has a desire to encourage,
support and motivate women in the same struggles. She is passionate about
empowering women to be the best version of themselves so they too can live a
victorious life. In her newest memoir, Pain to Purpose: Escaping the
F.I.R.E. to get to Freedom, Tyria discusses how she was able to pick up the
broken pieces of her life once she left her abuser. She shares how she was able
to use her past as a stepping stone to propel her to the future that God had
waiting for her.
