AAALAC 🌟 Celebrating an Inspirational Queen for International Women's History Month! 🌟Alma Thomas




Alma Collins Thomas is an ordained Minister Educator,  Motivational Speaker ,Playwright and Author. She holds two B.S degrees one in Human Services with a concentration in Children and Families and a BS in Christian Studies. She is a Bible School Teacher. She is the co-author of several books including Love,Marriage and Divorce. I am and Sisters with Purpose. She has two debut books Dream Killers and From the Waiting Room to the Recovery Room. She is the single mother of two children Sabria and Tysean who left his earthly home to reign in his heavenly home in 2009.
She is a stroke survivor. She suffered a massive stroke two years ago but she still empowers and inspires others from her hospital bed.

Today, we would like to shine the spotlight on a remarkable woman who embodies strength, resilience, and unwavering determination – Alma Collins Thomas.

Alma Thomas is more than just an ordained Minister, Educator, Motivational Speaker, Playwright, and Author – she is an inspiration to us all. With two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Human Services with a concentration in Children and Families, and another in Christian Studies, Alma's knowledge and expertise extend far and wide.

As a dedicated Bible School Teacher, Alma shares her wisdom with others, enlightening those around her with her deep understanding of faith and spirituality. Her co-authored books, including "Love Marriage and Divorce" and "I am and Sisters with Purpose," showcase her unique ability to uplift and guide others on their journey.

However, Alma's journey has not been without its share of challenges. In 2009, she experienced the unimaginable – the loss of her beloved son, Tysean, who left his earthly home to reign in his heavenly home. This devastating loss could have broken a lesser person, but Alma's strength shone through even in her darkest moments.



In addition to her loss , Alma herself is a survivor. Just two years ago, she suffered a massive stroke that could have left her defeated and hopeless. But that is not the Alma Thomas we know. Despite her physical limitations, Alma continues to empower and inspire others, even from her hospital bed.


Alma's resilience and determination are truly awe-inspiring. Her story serves as a reminder that no matter the challenges we face in life, we have the power within us to rise above and continue to make a difference.

On this International Women's History Month, we honor Alma Collins Thomas for her strength, her unwavering faith, and her ability to inspire others. She is a shining example of a trailblazing queen, using her voice and her experiences to uplift and guide those around her.
