Patrice Grimball, the Director of Book Reviews at Aspiring Authors Magazine LLC and Librarian Specialist at Charleston County Public Library, has touched the lives of countless readers and authors alike.

Known affectionately as SCBookGal843, Patrice has spent the last decade sharing her love for books through her pseudonym. With a preference for urban fiction and works that highlight diversity, especially those by African-American authors, Patrice has carved a unique path that resonates with readers all over.

But her passion for reading reaches far beyond personal enjoyment. Patrice's reading choices are guided by a desire to escape the ordinary and delve into stories featuring main characters of color.
