(19) OF 122 FEATURED BLACK AUTHORS FROM AROUND THE WORLD MEET AUTHOR Precious Swain-Peaks

Who is Precious Swain?

Written by Aja Monique

If I had to describe Precious in one word it would be “survivor”.

Through years of verbal and physical abuse ranging from childhood through marriage. She survived. Having been molested, kidnapped, and raped. She survived. Having been born to a Heroin addicted mother. She Survived. Despite the wrong turns she took in life placing her in situations with the law. She survived. Even after attempting suicide. She survived. Today she is a Minister, founder of New Visions Ministries of Florida, Inc. An outreach ministry that focuses on educating and empowering abused women and children. She is the author of the “Who Says a Princess Can’t Come From the Ghetto?” Series the testimony of her life. Precious is a serial entrepreneur- owner of Imprecious Entertainment Services, Founder of Swain Girl Media, Owner of Anointed for Prosperity Bookkeeping and More, President of New Visions Handy Helpers, Inc and COO of Peak Level Productions, LLC. She is a wife, a mother, a grandmother and a walking testimony to the greatness of Yahuah.

With grace and transparency she shares her testimony for the benefit and healing of others and the edification of the Father.

Testimonials

“I am so appreciative of the assistance, the prayer, the counseling that Precious has given to myself and my family. She has worked to inspire us to meet our issues head on and work through them together.”

– Dorothy Hall , Ocala, FL.

“Participating in Precious’s seminar on “Trust Issues” help me to identify the root cause of the mindset that I couldn’t trust other women. Once I identified where it originated I was able to work within myself to overcome, forgive and find the healing needed for me to build and maintain healthy friendships with other women.”

– Dana Folsom, Ocala, FL Participant at Beauty Behind Bars Ocala - 2018

“Reading Precious’s blog and hearing her speak to the women of my congregation on the topic “Men Hurt Too” made me realize that because of the image that society has portrayed women don’t really realize the pain men actually carry and the importance of being able to share with your mate so she know how to help you through the healing process.”

– Richard Howard-Pastor, Ocala, FL
