(45) OF 122 FEATURED BLACK AUTHOR FROM AROUND THE WORLD MEET AUTHOR G B Lynch

G B Lynch is a bestselling Author, Speaker, Business Consultant, and a 70's baby! She grew up with amazingly supportive parents and was the youngest of 4. Many interests while growing up led to a discovery of a laundry list of untapped talents. Thanks to her mother she gained a love of reading super early in life. That morphed into a passion for writing. So, by the age of 12 she began to pen a collection of poetry.

Other talents uncloaked themselves on the journey. That inner creativity paved a path to acting in stage plays, dance recitals, singing performances in local talent shows, a contestant in a local beauty pageant, in addition to playing in the middle school marching band and learning arts and crafts. Oh, and wiring a telephone in her bedroom when she was in middle school! Never a dull moment! Her Mother called her a 'Jackie of all trades'!

For over 30 years G has been married to her soul mate. He is her biggest supporter in everything that she does. They have a beautiful family that includes a daughter, son-n-law and granddaughter.

G is a bestselling author and currently has 2 published books. The bestseller 1st book 'We Are Still Supposed To Be Slaves: The chronicles of being Black in America' will be a series collection. This book seeks to rehydrate the historical drought that America is in. Many people think they know everything when it comes to Black History. Black history is American History and we don't know it all. This book aspires to show how yesterday connects to today.

The 2nd published book 'Soul Food’s Road To Culinary Decadence: the long trip from plantation scraps to celebrated cuisine' is the newest release. The cookbook shares the often little known history behind some Soul Food favorites. The book is perfect for family and friends! They can get in the kitchen together to prepare great Soul Food while discussing their memories, making some new ones and learning the historical origins.

(40) OF 122 FEATURED BLACK AUTHOR FROM AROUND THE WORLD MEET AUTHOR Tracy Smalls

I believe that one of the foundations of success is understanding that we were created for a reason and whatever that reason is it’s to help God facilitate somethings here on earth. Often, we allow the cares of life rather it's our job, children, parents, relationships etc. derail us from the plan of God. My writing is to captivate the hearts of people, to help them through toxic relationships so that they could walk in the divine purpose. I’m a firm believer of keeping a healthy mind to ensure that we are living our best life. It took me over forty years to discover why I was born because my mind was entangled in bad relationships that nearly destroyed my soul. I write to encourage others.

I currently have three books sold on Amazon.
